Looking for an 1891 O - VAM 9b - will trade all of the following VAMs for a verified example..... all in ANACS holders.... V 1A3 in 12 details, V 1B in 50 details, V 3A1 in 45, V 3A2 in 35, V 10 in 50, V20 in 40 details, and V22 in 45... a couple decent E clashers and the tougher to locate V20.

Congrats my friend.... it's a story like this that keeps me looking for that ever elusive VAM. A well deserved "WOW" to you!

Rumor has it there are photos floating around somewhere of a few folks from VW holding 2 of those at the same time.

It is in an ANACS VAM 20 holder - EF40 details / scratched (unless they are calling that the scratch?)

VAM 3 says multiple pairing might exist, perhaps the doubling was missed on the earlier VAM listing. The pitting looks to be the same on both examples? My 2nd example of the gouge in denticles left of date arrived, both coins also have filled denticles from the 2nd 1 in the date over to the 2nd right star. Not listable due to not reaching the field, but an easy PUP which helped me find this example.

Just an opinion, but if you compare the 2 larger photos of the scribbles on the VAM 3BV page, you will see that some of the scribbles have faded / disappeared on the second (lower photo) example. I would say if your coin has all the other features, it is likely 3BV, but a later, more worn die state ...

But I am waiting to receive a second example of the gouge at date coin - in much lower grade, but only second example I have seen.
