Thanks Lew for your “sharp” eye for identifying the differences in 1878-S vam 16 and now vam 16A.
Here are pics of a high grade but heavily Toned OB but clear Rev Vam 16A.

Re: A VAM Story

Fantastic story of how you stumbled into the vamworld community.
Mine was a broken left leg and being non weight bearing for 3 months.
I stumbled into VW 1 and took 3 days to attributed my entire #12 ranked (at that time) standard morgan set.

Re: 1878s VAM-109

The order of production is 109, 100, 65 finally 10.
This was all tied together with the elimination of 87 back in 2016

Re: Show off some of your best vams!!

It might be considered as a High grade in your “high end “ Rabbit eyes. It’s the lowest graded 1888-O Scar H-10 “low ball” found in the wild untouched by pockets of Alabama Rabbits.
Lol, had PCGS “re-graded” it and yes they dropped it to a 30. 😎

A few years ago, I was deep into the Thorn Head Die study, & thought that there was at least one more possible in the series. The discovery of the 1B6A convinced me that there has to be additional polishing events th...
