Based on the horn F15, VF on a good day for you. I thought in your youth you dreamed of getting your birth year set. But I guess a 1913 V nickel is a little high.

SEGS will holder any VAM "numbered" counterfeit Morgan. However it will say on the label. "Not of U.S. origin".
I have several as they are the only TPG that will VAM the coin and holder it.
If you have any, and need them slabbed, you might need to get it done ASAP.

We have a winner, 1997 P dime struck, than struck with a penny. Also known as a 11 cent piece.
So, what did I win?
All expense paid lunch with a smelly squirrel at White Castle. One plain hamburger, no cheese. Small fry and a small cup of water, no ice.

Re: OT, a Bunnies riddle.

Lincoln cent struck on an already struck dime. Heads face different directions. Lincoln was Republican and FDR a Democrat. The song was "Brother Could You Spare a Dime?" The only one I could find was a 1998 cent struck on a 1997 dime, so not sure about the part of it being made in 1997...20190307_0...

Re: OT, a Bunnies riddle.

I can't figure this out, but I'd swear this will boil down to one or two coins minted in Philadelphia. Think buffalo nickel or silver eagle - each side has a head in portrait perspective. Only one head, eye and ear are showing on each side. I just can't find the coin(s) that fit this. Look at the f...

Re: Crackin’ Slabs & Resubmitting Stories

I have an abundance of stories. I have learned some really valuable lessons. Some are: 4. You will almost certainly do better on average grade wise if you have your coins graded at the tier they belong. For instance, don't send a 14.19 in for economy grading. Ash My 14.19 when I sent it in, I put a...
