Re: 1878-S thee dot above "B" in RIB.

Thank you all for your help and patience on my learning curve. I am aware of my protocol mistake mentioned below and I think we fixed it. Update: I know we fixed it! I bought the coin in question on Ebay. I saw something in Ebay photos that proved to be there, or not there. Here is a Ebay screenshot...

Re: 1878-S Made changes around "8" poll attempt.

PC060929.JPG Update: Please find a updated photo of my 1878-S: I have been experimenting. P1071193_1.JPG I would like...

I think it's a stain/residue etch of some kind.
Using this proscope 50x w/leds may not be trustworthy. I will try real light tomorrow. Thanks DHaliaday.

Reverse B2d – Micro I S mint mark doubled with notch at top right of upper serif, doubled left side of lower serif and slight doubling on inside of lower loop . I would bet the photographers here have a better photo of that "s" for comparison. I will keep looking. I have been discovering the coins ...

Re: 1921 p Morgan VAM 3K2 (LDS) confirmation attempts:

It's VAM 3K-something. Does yours have a big diamond-shaped die break (laying on its side) between obverse left stars 2 & 3? If it does then it's 3K2. If it doesn't then it's 3K1. How were you Screenshot_2019-11-11-15-44-34.png able to decide so quickly from this given photo that, indeed, this is a...

Thank you for your confirmation DHalladay. Continuing on this learning curve I am enjoying, may I ask what would have to happen to this vam 3k2 for it to become a 3k3?
I appreciate your patience.

Thank you for your time.

Hoping you see a simularity in these two photos.
One is a 21p Vam
3K2, the other is a discovered coin from a Colorado collection that
my wife thinks I altered with a fine drafting pencil.
