The heavy obv hair smashing really kills this one IMHO
The rest of the obv is quite clean and bold- reverse looks top au
A au 58 withot that obv hair smashing but my thought lends to AU50
which is lesser of Obv smashing/super weakness IMHO

Re: THE ULTIMATE PICKIN STORY
I can understand naysayers as my hoard purchases have been quite large and
over many yrs. I need not prove their validity to anyone, especially anyone here who
throws stones at otherwise positive posts.
To the few neg comments here= GO POUND SAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: 1878 S PCGSMS63 VAM 76 or 50?
Response vam 50 or 76 1. Never seem a v50 in 63 - A 62 yes 2. Vam 76 much more common in Mint state than v50 3. Picture of chin dot is deceiving but not big/bold like v 50 Having a 76 in 63 is pretty cool- having a v50 in 63 would top that by 5x I am a holder of quite the v 50 collection

Re: A VAM Story
Coins/Vam stories are super special IMHO, as they keep interest even if there is not something new & exciting in coins. Hearing how folks started and happenings along the way contribute to fantastic reads and help others with collecting. May the cool stories continue, with history as the backdrop.
