The seller was very cool . I probably made a new friend. I may have still paid a hair more than a current price sheet says , however there is much more to life than a price sheet !

A couple years back on fleebay , I saw an anacs yellow holder vam 33 attributed 1878 7/8 tf Upon closer examination of the obverse It was a vam 44, I clicked buy it now And it was gone!! So someone got a steal , So I missed it by a couple of minutes probably seconds, By now they probably corrected ...

I mean it's got to happen ,doesn't it? So many listing splits ,8 tail feather renumbering Etc...I have wore myself out ...

Update ,,,,, Seller turned out to be extremely cool . Think I will keep an eye out for a new face here on the VAMWORLD forum in the future . Maybe even a new member of the SSDC someday . We made a deal . AND Jodemyer your first guess was close enough ... original deal was $154.00 for the listed VAM ...

Are you talking about Daniel Carr kind of stuff , mint error struck on different Planchet , or just clashes ???? Maybe try using a different light source than what is on your scope . like a flashlight from the side if that makes any sense. Sorry i am confused by your question .. Are you seeing stuff...
