Thanks to this great website, I was able to learn about different vams and what
to look for many years ago and as a result I was lucky to find a couple.
Her is an example, my 1878 S PCGSMS64 vam 36 B.

I see some GREAT finds here.
I saw this 1921 PCGSMS64 Peace dollar a long time ago and was very lucky to have
looked at the the first L, in DOLLAR and saw the ray through the bottom, for a VAM 3
and bought it right away.

WOW! I have always looked for an 1888 O SCARFACE. GREAT FIND!
Here is one, that I found years ago an 1878 CC PCGSMS63 DMPL VAM 11, lines in wing.

I had to wait and get on my old PC, where I had my pictures saved of what I had labeled as a 3A.
It has a filled D mint mark and the doubled rays.
Looking at the vam 3 and 3A, I'm questioning if mine is a vam 3 or vam 3A.

I haven't found any good vams for a LONG time.
I did how ever just buy this very well struck, nicely toned 1920 S NGCMS65, today.
It has the strongest details, that I have seen for awhile.

I had posted my 1892 PCGSPR65CAM awhile back. Since I haven't seen or bought any good vams, for a LONG time, I had my PROOF CAMEO 1892 Morgan out looking at it and remembering how excited I was and still am, on owning it. It is not a vam, but I think one beautiful Morgan silver dollar. Enjoy, Bert
