Re: Carson City 150 Event !!!

Other pics I took. A few of the coins on display. A scale used to weigh ore and bullion.
Had cocktails at the Governor's mansion afterwards. Great trip but had to miss the
Chiefs victory parade.

Special medallion signed by the US mint director, the

Does the VAM-49 discovery piece have these die scratches ?
I think mine is an EDS .
It has no die cracks.

1879-P VAM-93 Possibly stupid question

There are three dies listed for this variety. Are there three different versions of the same VAM ?
Also, my coin has the upper wing line but none of the other markers. What am I not understanding, please ?

1900-O VAM 53 ?

Can anyone confirm this? I have looked at all 1900-O listings and the 53 is the only one I can find that has a similar date and mint mark. The spur-like chip on the third star and polish lines under the chin on mine aren't mentioned markers. 1900-o mm.jpg 1900-o chin.jpg 1900-o date.jpg 1900-o 3rd s...

Found VAMWORLD error, whom do I tell?

Found these two pics on 1900-O page, clearly not the same date position. Thought someone would want to know.
