Hi Welcome! I see what does appear to me to be an 8 in the denticles. I too went through the 1886 listings and I didn't see any pictures showing that. I'm hoping @messydesk or @vampicker might give an opinion. Perhaps, they may be able to help you figure this one out...kenny

not sure, but usually is 'struck through' grease to have something 'missing'. can you see a faint image of the star. the picture of reverse is blurred, but it looks a bit off. not saying it is, but to me the font and spacing seems strange...kenny

so I doubt that VAM World or the SSDC wants to be the vehicle for a Buy & Sell of large proportions. I imagine they would fall under the same rules??? I've just dipped my toe into the 'discord' pool with the card grading company I work for. Don't know 'any' of the ins & outs yet but it seems similar...
