Re: Sleeper Set

Hmmm well . I am clearly gonna need some help with that list , If its just the major cuds in Morgans said list would be pretty short and high dollar so to speak . There would have to be some cut off point to be determined By those with much more experience than little ole me . Only thing I can offer...

Or maybe, my CUD is a CC and yours isn’t. 😄 you crack me up     Unfortunately the c...

Re: Sleeper Set

O heck I was just happy I already own 1 of the coins you guys have put up so far. I guess if you found that 11A in any kind of shape you could trade it for a vast majority of the rest of them . That would be a great stopper as of 2023

Re: O/T What do you make of this ?

I figured you would all get a kick out of the press release . To actually build something that would do what she is claiming would be beyond my comprehension. I did not see Jack lee's 93-S or the Illinois set 84 -S that anyone one of us could purchase on Ebay right now for $950,000 : If the check wo...

I have had some extremely high grade VAM-203s. VAM-203A? I think I found a single one and it was an AU. That is an amazing coin there.
203A
The Ole SSDC value guide does not even go high enough for a 203A in MS 64 BTW ... Stellar job Sir!

If you have any doubts about just what you have , please open a new topic here and post pictures of the coin . The folks on this forum know more about this stuff than PCGS  VAM 14.1 is on their list the A has to do with the clashed n I think . If you want a more accurate VAM designation tha...

Re: 8TF

Welcome to the forum ! . If its on this list , they recognize the variety. It does cost an additional 20 bucks beyond any grading fee to get them to write the number on a label .They just won't do it unless the service is requested and paid for .https://www.pcgs.com/vamvarieties

Re: It's been awhile since my last Newp post (Update)

Jodemyer Very cool man! Ya know I love this hobby , ,take any budget amount , say 6 grand is a nice number out there in space . A guy can buy one $6.000 dollar coin , or TEN , $600coins or one hundred $60 dollar coins . There are some multiple combinations involved in that example , but the point i...

Re: 1886 VAM?

Don't know for sure ,It is just the closest thing I could find without having the coin in hand . Pretty sure the reverse is right, maybe a little later die state . However the obverse is not a 10 point match by any means ;) Screenshot 2023-10-23 222626.jpg Screenshot 2023-10-23 224900.jpg Screenshot...

Re: view census

The census in the SSDC registry is current. If you enter a coin - it is in the census quick as those electrons can do their thing. The "census" that can be found on some of the VAMworld pages - is NOT current. Other censuses - who knows! Hope this helps. VAMon I might add the new full date census f...
