Re: 1878-S VAM 36
FWIW; Just my opinion, and it's worth what you are paying. In reference to a VAM-36 die Number 1 If it is a really nice super bright white then I think it may be worth a little premium above graysheet. If not, I wouldn't pay a premium. I have not had a problem seeing MS-63 and 64 VAM-36.1s. I have n...

The texture of the field around the date makes me think of VAM-31A.
Let us know if this is it or not.

Re: No Respect to start 2022.YES?
 Quite a few low pop seemingly tough finds that are overlooked/under appreciated by collectors. A prime example is my PCGS 1881-0 vam 16 in ms64dmpl. What a stunning coin but nobody seems to care which frustrates me. If i cant get some type of premium i will simply keep it stashed. Really ...

Re: 1887 Potenial Vam 1B
Sorry not trying to be a pain, just trying to learn. I love Vams and errors and just want to be clear about what I'm seeing vs what it actually is. I really appreciate all of your feedback. -Murph You're not a pain at all. I speak plainly. Don't read anything into it. We are happy to help. We are g...

Re: 1887 Potenial Vam 1B
Just got the coin, took some pictures with my coin microscope. Does it look like a partial E? I also don't see a line in the wing. Die clash at her mouth.... I know that you would like your coin to be a 1B, but I'm sorry to repeat that it is not. You just gave us more proof that our attribution tha...

Sorry, but I'm not sure that the photos are clear enough to show the detail that you speak of.
I do not see any die clash marks in any of your photos.

Re: SSDC Set Question
Thank you Brent. I did not realize that I only have one hole to fill in my clashed G set until you mentioned it. In my mind I have been thinking that I still have three to go. Brent fogie Could you add two more VAMs to the clashed G set? 1878-P VAM-34A 1900-O VAM-38D Brady Johnson found this Monster...

SSDC Set Question
I don't know why I have not asked this question sooner about the Clashed G set. VAMs 2A1 and 2A2 are not the same die pair. Question: Should there be separate entries for these VAMs? Right now either VAM can fill that one spot. I understand VAMs 4A/4B/and 4C having one spot, but 2A1 & 2A2 are differ...

It’s nice when the seller includes a VSS sticker. It gives you more confidence in your purchase. I really like that Heritage recognizes the VSS attribution. I wish that Great Collections would accept VSS attribution. I wonder if there is anyway we could help influence Great Collections. messydesk
