Re: 1880 p vam 57 with multiple reverse clashing??

Nice pick
It doesn’t look anything like my 75A.
Would be nice for an expert like JB or JR to see both together for an expert analysis.
Congratulations

Re: 1892 S VAM?

Clear close up photos of the date and mm locations would help. But from what I see on your photos, my guess is that you have a VAM-10.

Re: 1880 p vam 57 with multiple reverse clashing??

It is interesting. It would be nice to have photos that showed detail better, but it does look like it may be a 25 obverse. I have not seen a 25 obverse with the exact reverse clashing that I'm seeing on your photos.

Re: 1880 p vam 57 with multiple reverse clashing??

I don’t remember my 75A looking like your coin.
My coin is confirmed as a 75A by JB @messydesk
I’ll pull my coin and check it against your coin.
You may have one that has clashed again.

I don’t really know what you have, but my first knee jerk thought was you might have a 58A.

Re: 1880 p vam 57 with multiple reverse clashing??

I don’t know your VW name.
If you are new here, welcome.
The obverse clash line is in the wrong location for VAM-57. VAM-57 obverse is the same as 24A.
Having said that, your coin clashing is interesting. It would be nice to see in hand.
Nice pick.

Nice work Wayne.

Now I just need to find a 23A of my own.

I don’t know your mm location, but look at the VAM-12 page. See what it says about EDS.

Re: 1892 S VAM?

I can't see anything from all of those links.
It would still be nice to see the photos of your coin. Someone here could likely help you with an attribution.

Re: 1892 S VAM?

Usually when supplied with good photos, the VAM can be attributed correctly on VW.
It would be good if you made a post on the discussion board with photos.

*Gift*, Upgrade, Move

I received an unexpected Gift. :D :D :D THANK YOU :!: It was also an up grade for my clashed G set. For those that may not know me, I am a big clashed G fan. I have the top Clashed G set in the SSDC. Someone sent me a pretty hard to find 1900-O VAM-50B in PCGS XF-40. That spot is currently filled wi...

Re: 1888 P Morgan with VAM-1B...and more?

Yes, I do have (2) Morgan coins. But I thought I should focus on just one right now...the 1888 P You say it isn't a VAM -1B, but two out of the four pictures are shown on the VAM. So are you saying that the only true VAM is the picture that shows a little line on the neck of the obverse? The reason...

Re: 1888 P Morgan with VAM-1B...and more?

I'm not really sure about the title. You say you have two coins. Are you saying that the coin in the linked photos is of a VAM-1B? Are you asking for help to attribute this coin? It is clashed, but it is not a VAM-1B. http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compute.amazonaws.com/wiki/1888-P_VAM-1B Keep lo...
