Re: Help Attributing a B1 Reverse 1922 Peace - New Type?

Welcome to VAMWORLD! Ok, I believe the doubling your seeing is machine doubling and not actually doubling of the die, also the die scratch looks more like a fine crack that would be to light to list. I believe the dot/chip under eagles jaw would also be to small to list, I could be wrong. Keep looki...

Re: 1922-D VAM 2AG

Super find Tom, if it were me....I'd bust it out and send to LVA. Looks like a pretty healthy die scratch on reverse....could be crack as well. (can't tell)
Sure looks better than a 62 to me :D

Re: I need help with my 1922 S

My pleasure Bert! Hey, I don't remember mine having a collar clash  I'm sure I would have noticed a collar clash, especially on the obv! Your could be a LDS of mine. I should get the discovery piece back from ANACS in a few week.
Awesome find my friend! :D

Re: I need help with my 1922 S

Bert, looks like you have a VAM 2AF2, note the die crack from lower R thru to TY. My discovery piece is in JR's hands right now so I can't 100% confirm, but sure looks like a 2AF2 to me.... :D

Help with 1924 P VAM 1BU Photo

I've got a 24 P that I believe could be a VAM 1BU, but, there are no photos on page. Also, no discovery person listed. I was wondering if anyone has a 1BU (Tom, Dr. Close, anyone) that could help me verify. Here's the description: Discovery 2013 1BU II1 - B2a (Die Gouge Right T) I-2 R-5 Obverse II1 ...
