Re: Strike Doubled Repunched Mint Mark

Would appreciate your clarification.

Re: 1903-O V4A OVALOID !

Good to see that there is a way to externally post hi-res images to the VW PM system. Hi-res images without taking up VW storage space; sounds like a winner all around.

Re: 86O E Clasher

Nice looking E; and the transfers of the stalks and the lower portions of the cotton bolls between the left wing and arrowheads show really well. Great features all around.

Re: Question on Variety Descriptions

Thanks for your responses, Chief and John. In notes to myself, I have noted the bold line as a Base Description and the other line as Feature Details. So I don't think that I was too far off: General Description (Base Description) and Specifications (Feature Details).

Question on Variety Descriptions

I am sure this is a very basic question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. 1884-O VAM 23 - The first bold line in the VAM's Main Topic Page (or VAM Page?) reads: 23 1112 9 - C3a (Doubled 1-4) (181) I-2 R-4 What is this line called? The second line reads: Obverse 1112 9 - 1 and 4 doubled on very top. D...

I've already started looking beyond the 1903-P series with regard this hub doubling matter. Would be interesting to see what shakes out.

There were a lot of revisions, Col. Will fill out some VAM Pages; after the migration dust settles, of course.
