Re: is leroy available to play with coins yet?

I received a supplement earlier in the week, so he is available. I mentioned in the post about the supplements that in order to keep him from getting swamped, wait until the day of the month corresponding to your birthday to send him stuff. I like the idea so I will wait a couple weeks. Makes sense.

1922 S V1O

For the darksiders, I have had this for a long time. I noticed it is listed as a R-7. I know the R ratings are kind of old and usually don`t mean much. Any ideas are welcome thanks.

I am guessing that is a planchet defect. Only could assess in hand.
I suppose that is possible. This damn covid has Long Beach shut down or I would see you there. Thanks for looking and I`ll bring it to LB for you to see whenever I can.

I have 2 V13 that are now V63. All the markers match. One has a nice crack all across the jaw. Should LVA see it?

Re: Copyright Question about Variety subheadings

To me, this is interesting. All I did was suggest that Loren check with Leroy. I generally have provided Leroy that courtesy in the past. I am amazed that this thread had dived into a legal discussion of copyright. Common courtesy was my intention, not necessarily a legal interpretation on my part....

Re: Incredible 83s coming to market...

Phenomenal coin. I was wondering about the PL designation, too. The picture looks a little dead in that respect. Here's the TrueView that speaks better to the coin. Might still be a stretch for PL, but then I didn't see it in person. I'll have to dig out my Eliasberg catalog and check what it sold ...

One thing is for sure here. If I do not know what a word is I look it up. You speak of classification taxonomy. So now I am more confused. Taxonomy is a branch of biology that classifies all living things. I learned something new today Thank you very much!

Thanks, Even though it is great trying to Vam these coins, it is appreciated that there are the experienced members out there willing to help us beginners. "You" have helped me with a couple of difficult (for me) ones and I have a few more to go. Is it just my inexperience or are the 1901-o, 1902-o...

Great reply, These newer coins are without any artistic value.
