Thanks John, I finally got it.
Did my suggestion fix it or was there a different issue? I like to know when my suggestions are actually good ones.
I cleared the cookies and not sure what else I tried. Thanks again.

Brian,

If you can, take a close up picture of the mm and post it.
I will tomorrow. I agree the mint mark looks similar, but what about the "buffed reverse?"

Posting a picture

Trouble posting a picture. The same thing happened about a year ago and you fixed it. I can`t remember how. It is a JPEG but when I drag it to the message box it starts to upload then quits. It says something about the dimensions. Thanks.

My coin is attributed by me, I don`t see any similarity with the buffed reverse.

Hi Steve.
I say no to 11A. 11A has Very Strong doubling to the outside of the ear. Also, the clash near the lip is incorrect for 11A.
Have not looked closely to all 1888 VAMs, but my quick guess would be 28A.
I have 2 LDS V11A, I agree with JR that V28A is a dupe.

I have a V49 but it is questionable. Not much to go on with no other markers.

Re: 1879 S r78 vam25

VAM 25 is not one of the rarer varieties for the date, so I doubt there is much if any premium. The majority of MS61 sales at Heritage since prices for that date soared a couple of years ago have been in PCGS holders. There have been 4 NGC sales, averaging just under $529. I have 2 in PCGS MS 61. A...

Re: 1896 P VAM 24 vs New VAM35

Not necessarily, could you check the reverse and see if it matches the V24 page, " Reverse C3c– Slightly doubled lower bottom inside of UNITED STATES OF letters towards rim. Slight doubling of tops of In God W letters." If there is no doubling, then it would be a V35....hope that made sense. :D Tha...

Re: 1896 P VAM 24 vs New VAM35

I have a 96 P V24 with the threadlike marker. So now it is a V35 Correct? No clash marks.
