Re: difference between die scratch and die gouge?

Squirrel summed it up well. It was something that confused me at first too until I assumed basically what Rob said above. It does suck when you have something like that and try doing a quick keyword search to try to nail it down. Oh, and you'll never forget that one now. I always quickly check the e...

Cap tip? Honestly, I've never thought about it. Figured it was just part and parcel of the cap fold area. As-in "above cap fold" area.

My new Peace GSA... ex-Cookie Monster

With that recent post about Peace GSA's and me realizing I don't have one yet then this one crossing my path I figured why not for $50 bucks. Sure, it's just a torn soft pack, but it sure does look like someone was hungry which I think adds a little bit of extra character, maybe I'm nuts? Any ...

I'm not sure that the S is repunched. That could just be some unpolished slop from the center of the punch. That thought did occur to me, the "thing" inside the lower loop is what gave me pause as it appears more vertical like a baby gouge but the upper loop appears to have that typical "fang" we s...

Monster grade, super-PQ 80s HELP please.. Possible VNA page coin ..Should be easy, grrrr

Hey guys, got me a super sexy 7+ CAC girl. So, so close to 8... and she will make it into a PL holder one day due to a fresh polishing. Shes all there, whoever sent this in must have been slightly disappointed. I haven't owned, or even had, an 8 pass through my hands yet. So amazing ANY survived in ...

Re: Potential purchases, opinions? Cleaned, possible grade?

So why buy ungraded coins... unless to obtain a specific VAM. I make more money selling raws online,...
