Re: Some Hump-Day Eye Candy...

Thanks guys. Picked another (obverse) EOR up the other day too along with another sweet bit of neon rainbow sexiness. Both made my eyes go wide and the word "wow" instantly pop in my head when I saw them which is exactly what you want ti happen when buying toners. Don't think I've posted them here y...

Re: Name this Vam???

So I was right on the 21-s reverse? 21-S sure is different, even from the other 21 mints. I've always wondered why. The design looks more mushy and each device looks slightly larger even in EDS.. LDS even more so.

Re: 1889-O Oval O VAM-2

Neat. I sold a 2A in PC 62 last year. BU's are out there but they don't show up as often as you might think. The color is probably from an old cleaning then retoned. The progression is typical and the TPGS have been loosening up on slabbing circ toners lately so unless there are hairlines or other ...

Re: Sliver of silver flap cut?

I swear I've seen this coin before or another just like it. That's from a hit. The top of the O is shaved and pushed down Yup. I concur. You can see the depressed area on the top of the O that was scraped by the hit and also the void where the piece was sheared from then pushed down. Kinda neat tho...

Thanks guys, I'll show my buddy this thread. He's not a VAMmer per se but he is super excited nonetheless. Fyi, I dont want this thread to verge into BST territory, I'm not even sure its available. But you can PM me and I'll ask. Aside this comment let's keep any possible BST talk to PMs. Thanks 🤗

Re: 80s v94... LFCP's & PUP pics for page

Hey CascadeChris. Very nice coin and excellent images. I compared both mintmarks and your's does appear to match 94. No resemblance at all to the VAM 7 s/s. Hope your right! Mike Thanks Mike. I wasn't saying it was a possibly v7 though, just that since the v94 page is a near-zombie with only two pl...

80s v94... LFCP's & PUP pics for page

Hey guys, how strange that I find a v7 to be able to add LFCP's for the v7 page and now a v94 (same obverse) too for a page left wanting! Anyway, there are only 2 plates on the page and no mention of die markers set by the big guy but this girl sure looks like v94. If agreed will someone please add ...

Re: Cool ERROR -not- PMD... Change my mind!

You're hardly the first and won't be the last to bite on an atypical bagmark. I made this mark on a quarter a couple of years ago to settle a similar question. Hold the edge of one reeded coin on the face of another coin and give it a firm tap with a hammer. Voila! If you're not doing it on purpose...

Cool ERROR -not- PMD... Change my mind!

Got this in a bulk buy and at first glance I thought it was just a massive, hard bag it. Well, I see no pushed metal and the area is shiny. Looks to me like a Struck-thru previously struck delaminated fragment. The only thing that's strange to me is what appears to be a second set of denticles/reeds...

New top-pop... 21 Peace v3

A friend just got this fresh, sexy girl back from the factory. She is now the sole top-pop v3 in the SSDC registry dethroning a single NGC 65.. For you Darksiders, is this a big-ish deal or meh? @davidkclose @colwillys @vampicker
