Re: New-Be Question

PCGS, NGC or ANACS? Is it actually on label or on the surface of the slab plastic? What's the date/mint? @vampicker or @messydesk may be able to assist.

I see that the 2A in MS-64 that recently sold has been added to the SSDC census.
Congratulations to the new owner.
What did it sell for? Mine was a 62.

Re: New 89-O "Oval-o"... Or am I seeing things??

As JR once so guided me "round O with an oval opening..." Actually might have even been the same VAM as yours Chris. I just glanced and bid on a v2 assumption. Stupid me. Still paying for my education! She was $70 bucks so it was a cheap lesson.. just wont get the modicum of a premium I was hoping ...

84o.. Overlap of only 1 segment @ 1:00... HELP

Anyone recognize this girl? I'm not having any luck but that die polishing line at the right rev star to denticles looks familiar... Far date and I'm not really definitively matching up the mm either. Kicker is she appears to be an overlap but only at one single segment @1:00 above the dot between S...

Re: New 89-O "Oval-o"... Or am I seeing things??

Round O. Wear and hits on the mint mark can play tricks on you. Yup. Exactly why I posted. I was unaware of the third "evil miming oval" mint mark. 89o isn't a date I play around with much but it did look odd to me, almost like a hybrid. I couldn't quite determine if it was an oval that bowed a lit...

New 89-O "Oval-o"... Or am I seeing things??

Just got what I thought was a v2 in and to my surprise the date on this one looks to be set slightly further left than the v2 obverse, as well as a tad higher possibly... I sold my only v2 last year so I dont have one for an in-hand comparison. Are my eyes going or could we have something here guys?...

But then there is the PHONE pictures … :-) Posting a coin shortly thank you That's all I use. Never a problem and I get a ton of compliments on how good they are.. They aren't on par with DLSR glamor shots of course but a cell camera from any flagship model should take very good pics. The main issu...

Re: Size of Pictures

If I post a 1600 x 1200 does it reduce automatically on the site? Just curious. Thank you. I believe so. Ever since messydesk added a feature that automatically edits photos to fit the new VW 2.0 parameters I haven't had one single photo not upload. Before he did that, 1-2 out of every 10 or so pho...

Re: Some Hump-Day Eye Candy...

Thanks guys. Picked another (obverse) EOR up the other day too along with another sweet bit of neon rainbow sexiness. Both made my eyes go wide and the word "wow" instantly pop in my head when I saw them which is exactly what you want ti happen when buying toners. Don't think I've posted them here y...

Re: Name this Vam???

So I was right on the 21-s reverse? 21-S sure is different, even from the other 21 mints. I've always wondered why. The design looks more mushy and each device looks slightly larger even in EDS.. LDS even more so.

Re: 1889-O Oval O VAM-2

Neat. I sold a 2A in PC 62 last year. BU's are out there but they don't show up as often as you might think. The color is probably from an old cleaning then retoned. The progression is typical and the TPGS have been loosening up on slabbing circ toners lately so unless there are hairlines or other ...
