Re: Summer fun!! 2020
If it happens at all it will be very different than ever before, but I'll put my money on cancellation. That should be about the same time cases spike again.

I honestly think you messed up. That thing would have sat until he got pissed enough to list it for less than it auctioned for. Here's to hoping you let the world know how he operates when the time comes to leave feedback...

Why blame the President , Maybe drinking a gallon of Clorox will clear the fog in your head . I will stop because I care about the United States of AMERICA .. Everyone can have their say . I still love you impairedsquirrel . I don't see where I "blamed the president" for anything, but I'd love to d...

Re: 1882-O Morgan Silver Dollar - Is this a VAM 17A?
Is your coin clashed? The clashed "st" is what the 17a is actually listed for, but I'm not sure you'd ever find a 17a that isn't actually a 17b...
If yours doesn't have the clashed st or the U die break you have a VAM-17.

Re: COVID Business Failures O/T
I think all the governors are in a no win deal. Stay shut and watch the problems that come from that, not just business failures but also mental health. Open and take the criticism and possible health repercussions. What we are seeing is what I hoped for and that is common sense. The businesses are...

Those in the know sighed out loud at one of the posts in this thread...
As to the original poster, what DHalladay said is true, if you have to ask you don't have to ask... take a look at the VAM-23a page, a VAM-23a WILL look EXACTLY like that.

New aquisition - ALMOST one I've been after for ten years!
Okay, it's not quite the real full-on deal, but it's the closest I've been able to find in a decade of looking. I'll be honest, I'm not even sure what VAM it is, but I think it seems extra fitting with the current state of affairs in the world. The photo actually makes the "T" look stronger than it ...

Re: COVID Business Failures O/T
Doc, I have to admit I'm a bit surprised by your stance. Also, all the others saying "Let's roll", what we ALL need to understand is the purpose of all of this isn't to save YOU or ME (though this group is leaning more towards higher risk). What it really comes down to is saving a doctor from having...

Re: 1886 VAM 20 REPUNCHED DATE
I'm honestly surprised that this seller even got the attribution right. He has another "VAM-20" listed and has sold an 88-O "VAM-1a" that looks dubious to me as well as a 91-P "doubled ear clashed n" (assumed to mean v2b) that doesn't seem to have a doubled ear or any clashing...

Re: When Rob opens the "WOW" book...
If I had a pic of me in that book I’d still be sitting on all 300 of them... I call you guys friends, I would never do that to my friends! I wonder if a self portrait would have been cause enough for the SSDC to bar it from consideration for the Mallis Award???
