Re: Invitation to Saskatchewan Canada

As of today the ground is not snow covered, come now and have a quick holiday before winter sets in. If you intend to camp here next summer consider coming early enough to plant gardens. I’m offering an opportunity to past and present military and police personal (American and Canadian), and to Morg...

Re: Invitation to Saskatchewan Canada

The property is located about an 8 hour drive north of the US/Canada border, it is on the north side of the North Saskatchewan River, and is located along a major hiway, thereby granting access throughout the year. Folks would be welcome to use the facilities as a muster point. You may meet here wit...

Re: Invitation to Saskatchewan Canada

I was thinking people should register and get a key for the gate. There is a 2,000 square foot patio that nears completion, enough room there to accommodate large meetings, perhaps coin sales. Hoping to avoid Liberals, Democrats, communists and the like, avoid politics in general.

American and Canadian police and military, in active service or retired, are invited to utilize my acreage in central Saskatchewan Canada for camping and as a meeting place. If you are interested in hunting or fishing in Northern Saskatchewan, this acreage is ideally situated as a jumping off point ...

Re: Confirmed!! 1878 s VAM 111 Morgan

You didn’t participate in the hobby for 20 years, likely you returned, purchased and now posted photos of the coin just to irritate the serious collectors here. You had your bit of frivolous fun and got to giggle a little. Immaturity without bounds.

Re: Confirmed!! 1878 s VAM 111 Morgan

What did it get graded as by PCGS? F12 Details Damaged? How and when will you be dispersing of your 1878s Morgans?

Re: February 2019 SFLN

CascadeChris, I'm sure the vast majority of us would love to see photos of your VAM-27 that you are considering sending in for grading. There is nothing wrong with a lower grade VAM-27, even if it ends up in an orange ANACS holder. Perhaps there are already a couple hundred VAM-27's graded and encap...

Re: February 2019 SFLN

I am leaving most of the VAM-27's for other collectors as my funds are limited. Consider collecting Morgans from other mints and other years. I hear people like Hot Lips, maybe try to get some of them for yourselves before they all disappear. And them Peace Dollars sure are pretty coins.

Re: February 2019 SFLN

I think we are in a golden age of collecting, although a few people are buying and selling, others are buying and NOT selling, and by doing so are removing these coins from market. It is the children of the VAM collectors who will have the option to sell the coins at some distant date. In the mean t...

Re: February 2019 SFLN

It took some time but I received the coins in the mail yesterday (40 coins arrived). Because most sellers would not ship to Canada, I had the San Franciscos coins shipped to San Francisco, and from there they were eventually forwarded to me all at once. Sadly, eBay will NOT allow me to now post feed...

Re: PCGS 1878s VAM-72 Crossed to VAM-57 Holder

Yes, the story went that I am an inastute buyer who paid through the nose for details SFLN's, but somehow had the sense to buy a few properly graded coins. God Almighty (Jesus) looked down from heaven and saw the money I wasted, had compassion and steered me towards picking up this rare VAM-72 coin ...

Re: PCGS 1878s VAM-72 Crossed to VAM-57 Holder

No I did not pay VAM-72 prices on the coin. I firmly believe that God saw me paying huge money for details coins and felt sorry for me, and so He made this coin available to me in an attempt to help make up my tremendous losses. Now I am trying to put together a VF-20 set and am in need of a VAM-60 ...

PCGS 1878s VAM-72 Crossed to VAM-57 Holder

Somebody asked to see photos of this coin in the old VAMWORLD. I think I picked this VF20 VAM-72 (crossed to a VAM-57 holder) up from ebay in 2012, which is the same time Heritage Auctions managed to sell a 1878s VAM-72 similarly crossed to a VAM-57 holder, and similarly graded VF20 PCGS (June 3 201...

Re: 1879s Rev 78 (PAF) VAM-56

See the 1878s (Rev 79) Lines in Wing, I posted photos in "What It's Worth" on January 17th 2019. I did not identify the VAM number as there are different VAMs with lines in wing and I never got any further than that.

Re: 1879s Rev 78 (PAF) VAM-56

Even if bids head up to $3,000, I will have to keep selling other Morgans to pay for the SFLN's I purchased in February.

Re: February 2019 SFLN

Even should the coins in the twenty PCGS SFLN sets be redistributed, nobody can make a set that is all of the same grade. The AG3 category is missing the VAM-60, the XF40 category is missing VAM-60, the XF-45 category is missing the VAM-59, and the AU50 category is missing the VAM-72.

Re: February 2019 SFLN

morganman, you assisted Gene Henry and together you two collected the SFLN's, does this result in you having a couple hundred graded SFLN coins? People think them rare but there are well over a thousand floating around.
