Sounds much like my hunting partridge with an old single shot.
Keep trying, you'll get it.

Re: OT: Leroy, Marilyn and a burl bowl - a tribute to multiple beautiful lives

I can appreciate the warmth of a gift made of wood. As I assumed the role of taking care of aging parents I had the opportunity to recover a large broken limb from their maple tree. Cut stacked and aged, it proved useful. A few years later when it was painfully apparent that this would be our last C...

Re: Meet your new Official Attributors

I have no doubt that the transition will go smoothly.
The process is in very competent hands.
I hope that Leroy views this episode as one more accomplishment made possible only through his efforts and coordination.

Re: New VAM-e Sent - Michael Fey Buys LVA Assets

I appreciate the honest news released on this site. My greatest wish is that Leroy could find comfort in passing the torch to a qualified Numismatist and enjoy basking in a well deserved retirement. God Bless you Leroy. I regret that I have been too slow to tell you how much you have enriched my life.

Great coin, great story. I can relate. Just got a '92 S and went through the waiting process.

Great rant. Glad to have you back.
And as usual I am in general agreement.
I may not be doing it on a large scale, but I am stacking.

Re: 1904-O VAM 16 Or not?

Thanks Alan, I know I can count on you to keep me on track. I simply jumped to a conclusion when looking at the picture on the page for VAM 16, and didn't read the text you had written. Mine is indeed VAM 41. And while I don't assume all die pairs are flushed out, I keep looking. Thanks again and so...

Just need some input.

Thanks

Re: Hold Coins if Possible/Values $$$$$$$

Morganman, thanks for offering your perspectives It is my belief that we are in for difficult times. Critical mass been reached and now it is just a matter of time. I'm buying fewer VAMs and more bullion. My guess it that as others sell assets to cover paper losses and margin calls, some nice coins ...

Re: 2022 Proof Morgan's and Peace Dollars

I don't have any great interest in the newer Morgan and Peace dollars (other than their silver content,) but my brother always says, "If everybody liked the same things we like, it would just drive up the price."

My belief is that you indeed have a 35B, as proven by the pair of parallel, diagonal gouges between A and R of DOLLAR.
Pitting below the left wing above the arrow heads appears only on the latter die state.
The smart people will correct me shortly.
