OT MY NICEST MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR

I had posted my 1892 PCGSPR65CAM awhile back. Since I haven't seen or bought any good vams, for a LONG time, I had my PROOF CAMEO 1892 Morgan out looking at it and remembering how excited I was and still am, on owning it. It is not a vam, but I think one beautiful Morgan silver dollar. Enjoy, Bert

Re: 1878 CC vam 19B question

Thank you JR, I did notice, that the two ends, on the first C mint mark, seemed to be touching or came together, but I would never have guessed, that is where the dot was, that they said was on the coin. Thank You Scott, way back then, I think I sent some coins, to ICG to be graded, because they wer...

1878 CC vam 19B question

I had bought this 1878 CC, from a late night coin sales TV show, from SIMMS or Mount Vernon a LONG time ago, that was advertised as unc. I sent it to ICG, with some other coins to be graded and as you can see it was NOT unc. Oh well! After I found Vamworld and all of the great info and pictures, of ...

One of my most exciting Morgan vam finds

Here is one if my most memorable Morgan finds, My 1878 8TF NGCMS63DPL vam 23, that I found awhile back on the internet. I saw those doubled lips and clicked the Buy It Now and got help attributing afterwards. In addition to being DMPL, it has some nice toning. I've got 12 pictures to upload, so plea...

Re: 14.17 sold tonight

WOW! I learn so much, from this site and reading you posts. I was lucky enough to have found an 1878 8TF DMPL vam 23, after seeing the doubled lips, on the seller's pictures a long time ago and won it and I posted pictures of it many years ago. I didn't know, about this R-7 vam 14.17. I'm going to f...

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies

Thank you Tom, Thanks to this GREAT website and the many members, that help
identify the vams, I slowly learned what to look for, way back on the internet, when
I could still find them there.
Here is my last picture, of the dot on the neck, below the hair.

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies

I tried to click your ID chgolaw1 and morganman to maybe get your names, but for some reason it didn't go through, like I had done a long time ago. I have so many ID's and their names, from a long time ago saved on my computer. Thanks Tom, I looked at and tried to remember all of the great pictures,...

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies

Thank you everyone.
WOW Tom, just to have a 1925 S would be great, but the VAM 3A and only three known.
I just looked it up, to see what it looked like.
Have you posted pictures of it?
I would like to see it.

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies

I forgot to say the value means little to me, because nothing can equal
the GREAT feeling I get, when I get my coins out and remember how excited
I was, when I first saw them.
Here is one of my other more memorable finds.
My 1934 D NGCMS62 VAM 3A, WITH SOME VERY COOL DOUBLING.
Enjoy, Bert

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies

Thank you everyone,
I was just about to add this last picture, of my 1921 yesterday evening and wouldn't
you know, my power or electric went out, until late this morning.
Of course with no electricity, I headed for bed.
Thank you, Bert

One for all of the dark side junkies

Since it has been a LONG time, since I have found a good vam, I was looking through my coins and saw one of my most memorable finds ever. I had seen the post, about Peace dollars, with Dom and Tom and found my pictures, when I had posted it a long time ago. It is hard to describe the excitement, tha...
