I was lucky enough to have seen my 1881 0 Hit List 40, WOW FLAKY EYE VAM 1D, awhile back and jumped on it online. It is not graded, but looks like a GEM UNC, to me, with beautiful mirrored fields, both obv and rev. I noticed several other 'maybe' die markers, beside the flaky eye, that I didn't see ...

I got side lined, but here are some pictures of the rims, on my 1923
Peace dollar.
Do any of these pictures look like a collar clash?

Here my 1922 S PCGSMS63 VAM 10 Elite 30, that is easy to miss, if you are not looking for
the rays running down on top of the mountain and the extra ray, all on the reverse.
I was very lucky, that I saw it awhile back and bought it.

I confirm with, buy the coin not the slab or the grade. When I first started collecting silver dollars, I saw this nice looking 1880 in an AAG slab and bought it. When I saw this beautiful 1890 O, in an old thick NGCMS63 slab, I was going to buy it even it it wasn't a vam, a long time ago.
I did attribute it as a more common vam 1F.
Glad I saved the seller's excellent obv and rev pictures.

My 1880 NGCMS64 vam 11A (old thick NGC slab) and my PCGSMS64 VAM 11.

I doubt if I could see the checkmark,
