Re: Who else is growing a Quarantine Beard?...

I waited, until I went to the grocery store today and finally combed my hair,
but didn't shave.
I normally spend my time, walking in my woods, with my dog.
76 years old and lucky to still be running strong. Bert

My 1881 S vam 54B

Since I don't leave my home much anymore, I found one of my most exciting finds and thought I would take some new pictures and post them. It is my nicely 'mirrored' 1881 S ICGMS64 vam 54B, with a cool die beark, running down through the egale, to the bottom rim. Notice the die break, running down be...

Re: Show mw your OT picks

I was at a coin show, in Columbus, Ohio, a long time ago and saw Larry Briggs, at a table and bought this beautifully toned and very lustrous 1915 S SEGSMS65 buffalo nickel, from him. On all of my other buffalo nickels, I had copied and saved the seller's professional photos, but on this 1915 S, I u...

Re: 1878-S VAM 19B or something else?

I found my vam 19B Dennis and took some pictures.
I don't see the polish lines on the obverse, but they are strong on the reverse.
I hope this helps, Bert

Re: Darkside... Sexy clashed 23s help... Obv Clashed E??

Wow! This is OUTSTANDING information. I was having trouble seeing the clashed E on the 1923 S closeup, on the vam page. Now on Vern's 1926 S vam 1AF1, I can clearly see a portion of the clashed E. That clashed portion, of the E, is exactly where it is located, on the overlay. I have several clashed ...

Re: Darkside... Sexy clashed 23s help... Obv Clashed E??

Hey Chris, GREAT pictures BTW. I assume you are taking, about a clashed E, from the ONE on the rev. Are you talking, about the one picture below, of your 1923 S forehead, that you can see the 'diagonal' line, intersecting the diagonal clashed ray? Because if you look at the closeup, of the overlay, ...

Re: I need help with my clashed 1924 S

Thank you Tom,
I did look at the vam 1A page, but with no mention or picture, of the clash on the wing and with just one picture of the rays, above DOLLAR, I kept looking.'
I also sent Dr Close a PM, asking for help, since he discovered that vam.
