Re: High grade Bunny coin

So clearly I don't belong on Mount Olympus or Olympus Mons. But I will always be the crusher of hopes and dreams. In that vein, I now have to question the validity of the VAM 95 listing. How does this vary from the other master die doubling we see on 21's? I'd challenge anyone to find a mint state 2...

Re: High grade Bunny coin

And the verdict is ..... guilty. I did this one and got it wrong. If you ever want it fixed, just toss it in with an order and note that I said this one was a freebie.

Re: High grade Bunny coin

I'd be interested in knowing the cert number off Dennis's VAM 1 holder.

I don't know if it qualifies as another planet, but I'm originally from northeastern Connecticut not far from UCONN

And yeah, the 8TF looks like a VAM 2

Re: I think this is a new D2 1921-P

I added a note about the lines from the upper lip to the main 21-P page. It should make it easier to find in the future.
Can we get your great shot of the upper lip added to the scribbles page?

Thanks Dennis. It is a crack at the chin. Something for you to keep an eye out for. It will remain a VNA for now.

Anyone (Dennis) recognize this 21-P

D2 reverse with well worn scribbles. Obvious cracks that I thought would make this easy.

Re: Is there any vams that are with the 1921 d JOH-22 small break above m Morgan?

A pattern of minor cracks as illustrated by JOH-22 with no field displacement, noticeable die chips or scribble scratches would be a VAM 1. Most of the JOH listings have since had other stages noted that resulted in a VAM being assigned to it. As far as I know, this hasn't been found with anything '...

Re: An intersection of interests

Cool piece of history. I wonder if the smooth brass features have to do with exposure to abrasion or if it was polished that way after being cast. Psychic Bank of Ohio. But really, the bank was founded in 1907 and I think the building this came from was built back in the mid 1920's. The bank is lon...
