I have added it to the "First Year Morgans - Basic" set. Please note that when you ask for something to be fixed in a set - using the sets exact name really helps me find it so I can work on the issue. Thanks - VAMon....

I took a look - it had not been removed from the registry - only from the set. It is in the set now. As for the POP - I can not help there. It looks like none were ever entered. I do not have one so I cant "get the ball rolling" on this one.

My 1879-S VAM-129 is the discovery piece but it has a spot of PMD in a bad place. If you have one of these - please look at the R in AMERICA and see if it has the bump coming out of the bottom of the left foot (see purple arrow on photo). Thanks! @Vam-mysterio @VamHelsing

I have no way of telling which of my VAMs was caught in the wild & which came with an attribution. I will say that I have a crap load of each! There are some memorable finds and a great many that came to me misattributed. Most of the coins I get lately are misattributed as I am now looking for more ...

Yes - the 64 is mine. I have only had 1 more in hand and it was well before "its discovery" - I was not able to own that one. Worked out well 4 me to wait.

I would opt for ANACS. Most likely to get it right. PCGS (in my opinion) would take a glance at it and dismiss it outright. I would really like to hear ANACS verdict.....
