Might be a silly question, but does your car have a USB charging port in it?

It does not; 2007 Accord.

way OT: phone charger adapters?

I have a special hate for the way new cell phone models of the same brand often have different power supply "in" jacks, thereby rendering the company's old car chargers (which were too darn expensive in the first place) useless. Does anyone know if adapters could-should-do exist that would allow me ...

Re: 1921 P Morgan VAM 3A1B/3A1C

Confused by the paper trail on these. This thread indicates no tail feather gouge on 3A1c. The 3A1C attribution page heading very clearly says and shows that it has a gouge at the tailfeathers -- "1921-P VAM-3A1c Scribbling Die Scratches, Spiked Tail Feather, Die Gouges Stage 1" The old thread was,...

If it has the gouge from the tail it is either 3A1C, 3A2, 3A3 or 3A4.

bashing PCGS yet AGAIN

Here is a 3rd example of a 1921-D that PCGS has attributed as a VAM 1A TRU_T that is so not it's ridiculous. The first two I showed in recent months were jokes because they both still very clearly have most of the S showing: http://www.vamworld.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6439&hilit=PCGS But this ...

Re: 1882 GSA Carson city grand snake history.

The NGC site has a cert. lookup function, and closeups of this coin were available. I'm curious what made them certain this is an 1882-CC, since the tops of the numerals are so distorted.

Re: Very Rare 1882 CC Morgan Off-Center

Saying "WOW!!" seems so ridiculously inadequate... but I just don't know what else to say. :o

If I've done my math correctly, the dimensions of the NGC holder are 8-3/8" wide by 10-3/8" tall.

Re: 1882-o 38-b value

They are not particularly rare. I see lots of folks trying to squeeze big prices out of them. And it does happen sometimes, which I think speaks volumes about how dangerously clueless some buyers are. For example: -- an ANACS-63 sold for $210 on eBay in Feb. '21 -- a PCGS-63 sold for $71 on eBay in...

Re: 1880 VAM 6, not VAM 8 Ears - Right?

Just a follow up - this coin is back up on EBay right now. (I returned it previously with explanation showing it was incorrectly attributed.) I just contacted seller, who said they had sent this coin back to NGC and questioned the VAM 8 assignment. NGC re-holdered it and returned it, again as a VAM...

The reverse is strongly clashed, although there is zero evidence of it on the obverse, which perhaps means it was polished away and thus explains why the obverse has a PLish look. clash God.jpg clash left wreath hi.jpg clash left wreath lo.jpg clash right wreath.jpg Speaking of the obverse, the near...

A very annoying 1921-P

Here is yet another 1921-P (D2 reverse) whose VAM identity is resisting all of my charm and ability to locate – which happens a bit too often when you look at too many of ‘em. Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated. A big part of the problem is this coin has a ton of scribbles that go in dif...

Congrats and thanks for the tutorial
I am happy you found it.

Is that the one you have been looking for ?

Alas, no. The one I still need is the 1568, which is identical to the 1567 except it has an 8.
