I think what you listed are the only two TY clashed known.

1886 VAM 1C, 1886-O VAM 11A for 1891-O VAM 14A for rotation, offset, clashed.

Brian, I think yours is VAM-50A. Is there a tiny patch of rust/pittings by 1st L of DOLLAR on yours?

Also, VAM-50A mintmark is higher than VAM-33B. Clashing looks almost identical, but definitely different location. Just compare the clashed marking at back of the hair/cap.

@morganman - It's inevitable for the number of varieties to go up when we do extensive die study. And yes, the acid variety is very addicting

Could someone please add to SSDC Registry the new 1879-S VAM-147?
And also add it on the SSDC "Acidic VAMs" set.

The goal of the VAM system is to number and catalog every known die variety by date and mint mark.

I cant tell if it is raised or sunken but if I were forced to pick one, I want to say raised.

Look sunken or recessed to me.

There is zero indication on out side of D, it is completely retained inside the D if that helps
