Is that a monster scratch coming out of Liberty's chin :o , or an incredibly unfortunate lighting situation?

Re: PCGS re-holder special.. blah

I wonder if this is what is holding up my previous grading order (regular service from early September). It has been in the imaging queue for what seems like forever. I guess there are a lot of these specials in there too. Thats what I was thinking..the bottleneck could be at imaging. And images co...

Re: 1921 D1 Necklace Double Reed?

Yup. With attributing 21p's its a matter of going down the D1/2 crack map list 1-3 times, generally twice, then if not found you either set it aside and give up or take on the scribbles going down the list 1-5/6 times in hopes of an easy match, usually 2-4 times looking at the scribbles on your coin...

Off topic question but is the 89p v38A in the "city?" Those die cracks/breaks around the stars are so unique and cool.

O/T... TONED WLH

Came across this sexy little nugget and she looks like she's got a bit of a tripled date going on. Cant find anything online regarding WLH RPM's tho with a few cursory Google searches. Any help would be appreciated. Or is this more of a meh and just move on thing? Thx! 20201014_220904.jpg 20201014_2...

Re: 1897 Rusted Die Pitted Obverse Unknown Vam

The portion of the coin you see polishing (Cleaning) on is on the right stars only the rest of the coin does not appear to be cleaned at all. My guess is whoever polished the right stars and right field only was trying to get the rust and pitting on the coin out no realizing it was minted that way....
