I don’t usually respond to post such as this
Where you don’t have coin in hand
Because is all just guessing
And my best guess is yes the lines should be there
Once you have coin in hand
Please update
Thank you
I will update this post once i have coin in hand

Re: 1899-o micro o attribution help

Hard to tell, but I am leaning toward VAM 6. It looks as if there might be a light clash event on the reverse, and the die crack looks a lot like VAM 5. Just a guess, but I'll go with later die state of VAM 6 until you get pics from coin in hand. Thanks for reply VAM-6 date placement seems more to ...

1899-o micro o attribution help

I bought this 1899-o micro o and need some help on attribution. Probably what I'm about to write is absolutely wrong but I have some doubts Is there an EDS of the VAM-5 without lines in wing?? Date placement seems ok for VAM-5, Polishing line below rear of nose maybe could be there but could also be...

Excellent scribbles photos Vicenzo!
It is not so easy, is it?
It is often difficult for me to take good pics of scribbles, but when I find the right angle with natural light they often look good......but i simply use my cell phone camera with a loop.

Ah. Close-ups help. Indeed, it is a VAM 1AA.
Thanks for confirmation

Re: 1921-P D1 reverse with some reflective fields

D2 reverse, so it's not going to be from the "Zerbe proof" or Chapman dies. A PL 1921 is a good find, though. John, after looking more closer with a loop i'm still convinced that it's a D1 reverse and I believe it is a VAM-1AA. Try to take a look at these photos and tell me please if it's not a D1 ...

D2 reverse, so it's not going to be from the "Zerbe proof" or Chapman dies. A PL 1921 is a good find, though. I had the doubt if it was a D1 or a D2 reverse however looking at top arrow feather it seemed to me that it meets olive branch at center talon of eagle's right claw and not away from the ce...

Looks PL Vicenzo... bravo!
Chapman proofs are excessively rare, so I would not even consider that possibility.
I am very curious about the small 'leg' on the left side of O in ONE. What do you see in person?
Hello Dennis
can't see it clearly, but seems scrached/pmd

1921-P D1 reverse with some reflective fields

Hi all, i just received today this 1921-P that i bought thinking it could have some nice reflective fields. Now i'm at work and can't take a closer look to specific pups because my new phone camera doesn't have good close up features. The coin needs a nice acetone bath. Just wanted to start thread w...

This 2020 has certainly been a year to forget given the covid-19 problem that has affected the whole world. But 2020 is not a year that I will easily forget given the big luck I had to cherrypick maybe the 3 hardest VAMs of the Thornhead set January 2020 VAM 1B3a .... graded PCGS VF30 http://www.vam...
