Re: Printed 2022 VAM Supplement

I would like to see the supps continue.
I don't recall seeing the 20-21 being available, but I need that one as well. Is it available?

pull the trigger on this coin and submit together, not sure how the new variety makers feel about die classes and D1's and D2's.
Got an offer in. We'll see what happens.

Re: 1884-CC VAM 5...A?

I'm most interested in seeing the clash line above the eagle's right wing - where does it go... to the I... to the n ... inbetween the n and the G... or quite possibly to the G (as it appears in your picture of the date that also shows the neckline and clash there). This information will be needed ...

Re: 1900-P VAM-1

Andy in my opinion, this is another example of the v4 die class Mitch At this point, I would have to agree. The date position on this post coin better matches the plate photo position than my coin that is currently listed at the page. My coin's date at the V4 page is definitely more left, whereas, ...

Re: 1900-P VAM-1

See the pics. So how would you categorize this coin? Sorry, it is not in hand as I'm trying to decide if I want to bid on it. Wish it was possible to see if it's an alligator eye or not.

1900-P VAM-1

Hello All, In the hive's opinion, for the subject VAM, could it be a DPIS C3 (Normal Center) date and be slanted as well? There are no pics to reference. There are no Normal Center slanted date 1900P VAM's that I can find. All slanted are everything but C3. The only other VAM that is Normal Center d...

Re: 1886VAM?

Hard to tell in the pics....Maybe V27 or V27A? Being a Normal Right date with that diagonal polish line in the I of Liberty points towards the V27. However..... V27 was delisted saying it was the same as V29. V29 is a Normal Left Date. V27A was delisted as a dupe of V19, which is a Normal Right date.

Re: 1882-P VAM 4, for the page

Andy is THE MAN! DITTO .... may I ask a stupid question why does that plate picture say "4 O " etc??? is it reference for a number 4 O out of the old book? O for obverse. When I got into VAMs, I ordered the Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollars, 4th edition. T...

Re: 1885-P VAM-??

I don't see anything warranting a new listing if that's what you're wondering. Minor cracks with dubious claims to field displacement have done a lot to muddy the waters of attributing coins. I would probably add a couple pictures to the VW page showing cracks that develop later, since that aren't ...

Re: 1885-P VAM-??

Turns out this coin looks like a later stage 24A . Alligator eye not seen in auction pics. I posted a photo spread at SDP if anyone is interested in looking. There are other questions. Break to the left of the LIBERTY banner appears to have some displacement. Would this warrant a new listing? There ...

Can you confirm reverse? C3c C3b C3a Hey Mitch, Don't have the coin in hand yet. Once I do, I'll check and post. Are the pics insufficient to do this? As I look at the pic, it has all of the following. How does one determine the final hub? C3-Left serif of A in AMERICA cut down so it is further fro...

Its like a 1A2 without pitting. 4A maybe?
Thanks for the reply.
Probably not the 1A2 as the pitting has to be there, clash line at neck and reverse n don't match along with other markers. Markers for the 4A aren't there either.
The hunt continues.....

Need some input on this one. I wanna say 1G, but die cracks are off. There is a tick on the neck for letter transfer.
Any advice is appreciated....Andy

The stage is listed for the breaks. The clash is incidental as you thought
This is what I thought. Thank you for the response and info.
