Re: New to this forum....

Welcome Tony.
Have you gone through the "VAMs by date" listings to learn what "VAM-1" typically entails?

Re: can't find right vam

So, here's the reasoning behind not posting until you have the coin: A lot of online sellers lurk on VAMworld and, if you find something good they didn't notice, they CAN actually cancel or recall the shipment...
It's not really an ethical issue on your end, but more of a CYA issue.

Still say that should have been named 'stink eye'
Well, to be fair, that moniker was published once... so, if anyone wondered why the "also known as the 'Stink Eye' to some..." is in the guide, it is revealed to be a nod to JR!

Re: my marker bid won!

WOW! Sometimes ya just catch folks sleeping Dennis, WTG!! Crazy things happen in the bay sometimes, like, one time I saw an MS65 1881-P listed at common date money and thought "Naw, this has to be a misprint, but I gotta check" and, sure enough, it was actually an 1881-S... The kicker? That MS65 188...

Welcome aboard! As gently as possible, I'm afraid I have to tell you that 12a is excessively common and carries no premium.

Re: 1902-0 vam 45a in ANACS MS-63 value

As usual, the coin's desirability and how much one is willing to pay varies. It is a wickedly clashed, rotated coin. But it is under rated. If it had made the WOW list. it might have more fans. That being said, I have had 12 coins cross my hands, all cherry-picked. They are findable if one has pati...

Re: ANACS grades in

Just wanted to make sure you know that they made Morgans in a whole bunch of different years Dennis…😉😂 Nice group! Yes, there are indeed other dates. Before 1921-Ps and Ds, my fetish was 1895-S. I topped out at 52 (all PCGS), but now I'm down to just 21. 1895-S x21.jpg Yeah, yeah, we all know...

Not likely that the grade is correct, but "on occasion even a blind squirrel finds an acorn". Hence, buy the coin & not the holder.

JR, I'm a little late to this party, but you're saying "Somethin's wrong with the world today"? It is possible that the reverse die was cleaned up, removing the "spit" and adding the gouges.
