Noticeable Die gouge that appears to start at the third tail feather and then goes to the olive branch.

Appears to be a Die crack that goes from the rim to the bottom of E in STATES it is faint but noticeable.

I went down to my local coin shop and picked up three morgen dollars for $100 one 1880-S VAM-72, 1888-P VAM-1B, 1921-P VAM-3CA.

Unfortunately, it is not a new E rev. it just had a PMD scratch that I would have discovered if I had looked closer, the same thing happened to the 1882-S that I thought had two parallel Die gouges. :cry:
But you live and you learn but it is still a VAM-6 :lol:

Thanks y'all for the input and information. I have even thought about doing one for the 1889-O at some point :lol:. I think will slowly work my way to eventually doing a one with Peace dollars but that is a project for a later date.

I know that it probably means the progressing of a Die or Dies that eventually deteriorate or suffer a failure that will result in the Die/Dies being removed and replaced.
