Coin is a little baggy on the obverse , Seller had a ms 63 on the slip . I would probably guess 62 ish . Thanks for looking ...

There's a little metal flowing up between the denticles.the break does not go past the dot ,but the crack does ..hard to see that stuff on eBay pictures.Ill have to look at the precud tonight. Thank you

Gonna need a judgement call as I'm feeling more H-2 , than H-1 , official listing does say crack through dot , but I think it would be tons better if there was nothing past the Dot ... The beard is still pretty cool . I can already see this is gonna be a thing for me . Next time look for the H-0 may...

Oh man I need to show you my poor ole 79 CC , or even better my 80 cc , Ill have to take some pictures of them next weekend , see if either one are Vam-able... the 80 has a little scratch on it , seems like I've had it for 20 + years , kicking around in a box with a bunch of pennies ....

So I have actually learned something important while looking through the VW pages . They call the kind if pimple like pitting on your 83-O porosity , Which is exactly what I believe it would look like if it was in the die .. not rust >>>> I would have to show you a bad weld made by long arcing 7018 ...

So i was on the 82-O v 4 page and it shows a picture of a reverse that looks much like your 83-O eagle and someone dubbed your pitting as" Freckles " :lol:

this just reminds me of Geseas anomaly on his 78 . it looks like it extends up on to the S where it meets it on the lower right .. this is why i want to get Ziess to build a coin scope version, with big optics and no stacking required... What causes that ?, I saw they were raised . seems like you can see that feature on several samples under the right lighting .It looks like slag in bedded in the surface , not so much rusty dies , but some byproduct of extreme heat maybe ????..

No the alter surface thing is a coin cleaning type deception, the same category as whizzed sort of , I can't remember what it is called though...
