As a coin dealer, I agree with JB. Proof 61s are generally “hazy” looking. Proof 63 and preferably 63 Cameo are the first level where proofs really resemble proofs. Of course the price tag will be considerably more but save your money for a real looker. Some 63 Cameos are gorgeous.

Ah, the politics of crossovers! NGC to PCGS rarely succeeds. And you pay either way too! How about the stigma of NGC vs. PCGS too? My customer is in the market for a 1925-S Peace Dollar PCGS MS65. An NGC coin sold in July for $8400 and a PCGS in May for $24,000. No CAC on either. Go figure!
