U, star, cotton ball

I picked up this 114A but a couple of questions. The nostril seems more polished than the examples and are the cotton balls, Liberty, and atleast 2nd left star tripled? Also the U in United is that PMD or just a bad strike? Would this be a later strike for this Vam? Thanks in advance for the help!

Scratch, die break(s), tailfeathers.

I picked up this clashed coin and it has most of the hallmarks of a VAM 1C but the end star left has a die break (or 2), the profile isn't quite as doubled (inside of ear is doubled) as well as, a large scratch by cotton balls and some other small variances. Vam 12A by the reverse it looks like. What about the berries and leaves are they truly trip/quad or is it just a worn die?

Tripled A and R in America? Quadrupled left leaves and/or berries? Also die scratches and the right star reverse doubling.

I'm having a hard time finding a match for this 1888 P. I think it has some light letter clash "n", the date is doubled but I don't see a doubled profile. In addition either reverse is doubled, tripled?, in some cases quadrupled? There are die scratches reverse and a squiggle in the last 8. Any help...

Now some odd stuff. There is a chin hair that almost goes to the star (pics 2,3,4), spike in ear and I'm not sure if the line from the nose I'd PMD or during the strike.
