I am having difficulty distinguishing between an Open 2 and a Closed 2. Cannot figure out the break between almost touch and do not touch. The picture of the date for a VAM-1 does not help. The 4A is double clashed, which your coin appears to be.

Photos for the 4 show it to be clashed. It must have been the second clash that transferred letters for the 4A.

1899-O VAM-34B High O Set Shifted Left, Die Break Above E

I suspect some of the pictures shown for VAM-34A are actually 34B.
Most notably this one with a break above E
