Good ballpark value for a raw MS60?

I asked because the 1889 23 A/B, Vam 30 and Vam 49 all have the same atypical die erosion. Could have been a bad batch of die material, like our wonderful 70's cars, just rusted sooo bad. Picked up a nice 21d and checking all 3 sides, we discovered a peculiar raised mini-reed.

Does anyone have the explanation for this and what it would correctly be called?

Does PCGS through their insurance use PCGS posted values of the coin(s) that was stolen/lost to make you whole?

What was the cycle time? (ship to and received back)

I still like the curved top on the holders, it would be nice if the VAM # were up there too to find at a glance.

I've also got a weird reed that I need to take a pic of and that I would like to know about as well, and what it's called. It's like a mini raised reed in-between regular reeds on a 21D.

In conjunction with the 23A, the stages of the 23B are also economically obtainable die stages, not to mention that the 23 is an assumed coin? If I understand the methodology that the 23A had to come from somewhere and that out there somewhere is a 23 just waiting to be added to the VamWorld!

Thanks for the feedback. I have thought and really reviewed the other aspects of the coin. This coin has taught me to not dial in on one feature, be flexible and look at all 3 sides methodically and carefully. The 1888-O NGC MS-63 with the blob is............ A VAM 1-D, Pitted and denticle gouges in...

Just don't sell it in the Buy-Sell, can't take a Bear market here....

A little help on this coin, please. Bought this NGC from image, reflection from this fairly wide yet vertical blob line made O appear narrow, but obviously it is not. The O is set left and is an NGC-63. The line goes directly down the center, not an edge. It is raised, not a gouge... Any VAM Ideas?
