Thanks for sharing your story with LVA in his time of mourning. Gratitude and random acts of kindness are important to me as well. Happy holidays. The hunt continues. Peace Roy

1881-O Bearded eagle 26A?
Too many varieties with no pics of eagles head. Went to the 1881-0 website to find the markers on both sides of the eagle head. Did I chose the correct one? Thanks in advance for your input. Peace Roy

1879-S assistance requested
Hi all, This MS-67 is a treat to study but I'm stumped. I located a curved gouge marker off the hairline at the face but it's higher that VAM-1B. The other points of interest are an obv die break at N, IGWT a chip in G and dblng on W. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks. Peace Roy

1882-S VAM-3 or something else?
Acquired this pretty 1882-S, the die file lines thru the eye lead me to VAM-3 by way of 29 being eliminated. Do I ignore the clearly doubled mm. Pic of the wreath leaves do exhibit acid etch. Your opinion is appreciated. Peace Roy

Re: 2021 Morgans Postponed
Sounds like their website design is all screwed up and they need to fix it. How can this be? They don't have a systems manager/team maintaining their software? This is not a good sign. Peace Roy

1881-(P) with thread-like impression
Fortunately the NGC MS64 holder is clear. I'm thinking this coin may be 24 or 27 due to the dbl 8 but the thread-like impression on her cheek is very sharp. The only thread-like noted are on the cap or face at hairline. Could this be a strike thru? Your help is appreciated. Peace Roy

1922-(P) VAM-2AP
Pleasant match to include the diagonal file lines at top right of spike. I also find 2 curved clash marks between the rays . Rev die overlay makes it to be hair curls. Does this clash change anything? I don't find the curved clash marker listed. Thanks in advance. Peace Roy

1878-(P) 7tf is it 228?
This Morgan was my Tandy belt buckle coin as a kid. Yeah, it's worn but I found markers that peaked my interest in trying to figure it out. Short nock, open O, broken R and a die chip above the eyelid, also date doubling. Your insight is appreciated. Peace Roy
