Re: Time to Speculate ? / Hard Assets-Coins-Bullion

Admittingly, It is very hard/frustrating to see Silver prices virtually cheaper than dirt and seemingly going almost nowhere in price. The one commodity of some 50 + that has not had a price run yet. Every fundamental points to a huge impending price escalation, so patience is super warrented IMHO. ...

Re: Ebuyer Beware!

Oh FLEABAY- FLEABAY= So loaded with various Fraud Crap/some coin crooks of which they continually allow to be sellers/ many varied issues which only hurt the Numismatic Community. I decided to quit as a seller and use only as a buying venue, of which one must be careful, but some good occasional buy...

Re: 1878 7/8TF Attribution Help Needed, Please

Although common in vam circles vam 38 is cool and really loved by collectors, hence
value has increased quite a bit which surprises me due to mkt conditions the last few yrs
I actively buy em when decently priced, as they have proven good value

Re: 1883 0 vam 22A Value Question ??

A wowser response Dennis H; unbelievable amt of comps/sales with huge price ranges from very high to very low, which shows to me that SSDC Values are tops of the comp range and most likely quite overvalued. Sure nice to have all this pricing available Thanks to a stellar member we will refer to as: ...

Re: Mirror Mirror Part 3

Regarding Varslab vs VSS = I used to send raw Morgans for attrib but not having a grade seemed counterproductive. I personally think getting a coin graded then attrib on holder VSS makes more sense times 2x. Some would say if your not selling then it doesnt matter but knowing and having a grade help...

Non Graded but self ATTRIB fOR Sales

Absolutely amazing how many Morgans are (attrib by owner) ungraded and for sale via Fleabay. Seems dealers and individuals have becomemore proficient at attributing varieties the last several yrs. This is a testiment to the value and following of VW2 Even though most do not carry premiums, its great...

Beating to a Different Drum LOL

Even when a youg boy, i was super independant and had opinions/goals outside the normal box My folks kinda liked my direction but warned me to always stay within the law and within a so called straight line. This brings me to collecting Morgans. I have always loved buying bulk Morgans on the cheap. ...

Re: O/T Central Banks & Huge Metals have Stolen Show

9-27 Night trade- Metals continue to get slammed, with no breaks, Gold $1625 -Silver $18.30 David Morgan predicted this further slide before we see any relief He envisions much better pricing into year end with a real large move by 2023 yr end, so 1 yr plus Really sucks to see your investment losing...

Re: F/u on JB's 91-O 1A2 purchase...

The 91- 0 vam 1A Die stages 1-4 is a bit tough to value, and IMHO Vam 3A1 & 3a2 Especially, as POPS are low & many are details grade. All these have fallen off the cliff priceways and super undervalued IMHO. I am a total fan of these. especially 3A1 & 3a2 Like JB states, au58 is about end of line or...

Was wondering, did heirs break up Cail Collection ? Like many others ? I was amazed of the scope of the collection, but not by Lloyds personality, but admit to only meeting him at a show after he was pretty sick, so Logan told me. That told me a bunch from which many said he was a super individual e...

Re: NEW R-7 Retained Cud 1921 $ with photos

Way cool to see this dandy screw up !!!! Just thinking how messed up Mint workers were way back 100+ yrs ago, for there to be thousands of errors within one denomination. The lack of quality controls definately led Morgan Dollars to forefront of Errors/ Vams as we know them today I cant imagine what...
