Re: DEALERS BEWARE and LOOK OUT
This is more to worn people that don't look as close as we do. In hand while just flipping on coin after the other while culling dollars out, they are extremely easy to miss. The look and feel is that of a real cull, and in real common dates they just go into a Cull bucket.

DEALERS BEWARE and LOOK OUT
Well a newer batch of counterfeits that look like just normal run of the mill "Culls" 1921 S, P D and older dates. If you look at the leaves on the Olive branch, you can see the fully broken leaf ..... no matter the year they all have this defect. Note: some are even clashed. Its not that they are t...

Ultra Late 1921 S VAM 1 f Almost a retained CUD
Running over a few hundred 1921 S dollars and ran into this coin. It looks to be the latest die state of this die chip 1921 S. This is no Die Chip LOL, it even has a split break the "Splits the top of the T in states cross bar. you can follow the break off the "S" into the denticles.

Hey Brent here is the good News in the group of dollars I just went over I found 2 coins, that not only will fill your last hole to complete your date set but also one that will upgrade your PO1 Details VAM 13 to what should be an MS 62. OK Hear is the really bad NEWS! After going though all of the ...

Re: 1904 O V-5 Here it is Late Date Morgan Man
this coin has polishing around the wing on both top and bottom and looks like its a fresh event. In the eagles mouth it has a faint line gouge or scratch, but that on the inside and extends from the eagles tongue.

Re: 1904 O V-5 Here it is Late Date Morgan Man
So it looks like a VAM-6 die 1. But to make sure is this the correct understanding. VAM-6 Die 2 is a the coin with the heavy polishing around the upper and lower section of viewers left wing.

1904 O V-5 Here it is Late Date Morgan Man
Well this coin is what looks to be the long lost VAM-5 "Maybe" It has the correct obverse die in an early die state where 2 defined scratches that are deeper than they look in my images around 1 &9 of the date. This die is said to be shared with the VAM 5 , VAM 6 and VAM 38. The reverse die is not d...

Interesting 1923D W Missing info on the pages David Close Help
I picked this up thinking David has to have this one, its too broken. Well the coin imaged below has a dead bang match to the reverse die break on the VAM 1AE2. The listing states nothing about the Massive breaks on the OBV die. I glanced over the busted die listings and did not see one that matches...

Re: 78-S V72 Long nock PR62 in census?
As it turns out this coin is a double up. The winner of the coin crossed it into PCGS MS-63 PL. I have found a few coins won by members that crossed or where sent in by the winner of an auction coin for attribution that where doubled up in the population. On a rather common VAM its not really a big ...
