Re: 1884 CC reverse counterclash?

nice coin and pics. love a good CC that isn't all dipped and stripped and even if it was dipped previously, at least it has taken on some grunge and STILL looks like a nice 66.

Re: 1934 p v-1f - authen or not?

The coin for which the VAM was listed is real, I have seen this in all TPG holders. That is not to say that a counterfeiter could not use this coin as a model for counterfeit dies. Hope this is helpful. BTW, this VAM is still available with enough looking. thanks for the confirmation. i think this ...

1934 p v-1f - authen or not?

i remember from a long time ago this was deemed not authentic, or so i think.

what is the update, if any for this little gal?

did a quick, basic search and got nothing.

Re: Clashed 1921-S

i see the thing you think is the backbone of the E but for me, i couldn't commit to a yes from those images just because of how many ghost E clashes are out there. if you feel strongly about it though, toss it in an order with some other coin(s). it's only a little bit of money to have the big dog l...

Re: 1885 P Cracks or Breaks?

i didn't see anyone else say it so; the lines west of the E in the pic above really look like PLS, someone for some reason wiping the coin enough to cause minor damage and i've seen a fair amount of otherwise lovely coins get detailed for small patches like that. there is a fingerprint in the area o...

Re: 1923-S Super collar

If the reeding is otherwise normal (coin struck fully in collar) and there's additional reeding on the rim, it would be a collar clash, where the hammer die hit the collar die before striking this coin. It should be noted that initially, the collar clash is caused by vertical/horizontal misalignmen...
