1921-P 3FG3 or not ?
I just got a PCGS "sample" slab that I am told they gave out at shows. Ser.#12345678. The only markers it still has are the spike on the F and the two scratches in the hair. I copied the pics off the wiki. The upper tail feathers are polished out more than the full coin example of the 3FG2. All othe...

Re: FUN ZOOM Call
Yes, Big thanks to JB and his daughter. I had leftover pork tenderloin and fries. Great tidbits of info mixed with the chit-chat. I was inspired to dig out and go through some Morgans I had gotten when I was in grade school. So far I have been able to ID four of them. 84p-V18, 96p-V1E, 98p-V5, 99s-V...

Kaleb, Welcome and congrats on being 31. I was well over 50 when I got bit by the VAM bug.
Kenny, Cool vid, wish I had seen that early on. Would have answered a lot of my stupid
questions. Lastly, Corona, really?

Re: OT - What would you do?
I bought a $1000 bag from a dealer years ago, it came in a blue monster box with two canvas coin bags inside. I got $500 in dimes and $500 in quarters. I remember it having over $100 in postage on it. Probably costs 3 times that now.

Bought this a while back
I've been going though my boxes trying to attribute what I can, fun hobby. Picked up this struck-through-grease 21-D for the hell of it years ago. Got to looking, I think it's a V-1AS. Scribbles are the only decent details on it. Any opinions? #94-1921-D-greasey die (2).JPG #94-1921-D-greasey die (3...
