Re: Selling 151 Vams
Would you say 1888 VAM-11 listed is really an 11A?

Re: Some Vams you just wont Sell
As for me, I'm a collector not a dealer like some of you are. I used to be an accumulator, as long it was money from somewhere, I kept it. Then one day a guy at work was showing someone a raw Morgan he bought on Ebay. He said he wanted to get one of each date and mint. Cool idea. I had bought a PCGS...

Done that. Nothing. That is my main question, Why was the 58 eliminated and to what? Here is a pic of mine showing the unmentioned crack that can be seen on the full coin pic of V-58.

Re: 1880-O Elimination Question
Let me rephrase the question. Is V-66 the wrong reclassification for V-58 as my coin shows all the PUPs for a 58 but none for a 66 or 51? Should I be looking for my coin under another listing?

1880-O Elimination Question RE-DONE
I have an 1880-O with all the PUPs of a V-58, yet the 58 has been Re-Classified as a V-66. Now the 66 has been Re-Classified as a duplicate of the V-51. My coin has none of the PUPs shown on the pages for a 66 or 51 nor do those pages list any features listed on the V-66 page. Was the VAM 66 elimina...

1881-S VAM 65 ?
I found this typo on the 1881-S Reverses page.
------ "1881-S VAM-65 Doubled Reverse Legend" -----
Should say,
----"1881-S VAM-65 Tripled Right Stars, Spike in 8"----

How did this happen?
Heri.jpeg This sold at a famous auction house eight years ago. Nice clean looking coin, now it is up at another house and it is tarnished. I don't say toned. I have long suspected that holders could "leak". That would mean that all those colorful coins people are paying premiums for will one day be...

I keep a file, all of these I was out bid on and then they were listed as "lot was passed'. Not on EBAY but real auction houses.

Re: Scarface bidding lunacy
I'm not a dealer or a veteran VAMMER and have no doubt paid a little extra extra here and there but, what I don't get is "toning". My mother"s tea service would become alive with rainbows of blues, reds and yellows a few weeks after polishing. Then, blacker than sin within the next week. I prefer co...
