I also got the 89-o VAM-20A well under market it seems.

Congrats to all involved!
I was your under bidder, I started bidding around $100, I already had an au50, but thought it was very cheap. I would have gone more if I didn't have one already. Congrats on a good buy.

Congrats Dennis - Did Heritage cut you some slack (%) for the large number of coins you sent to the auction?

Re: TPG Crossover Labels

There should be an email set up where you take a picture of the label and submit it to them. Just my thoughts. I keep finding them in drawers at my desk and I know I would be more likely to send them right away if it was an email to somewhere. Some are pretty tough ones that I should really get take...

Re: The Great Western sugar company

I've bought several over the years. Here are two coins I put into these holders 8-10 years ago. They have always been stored in the same location but clearly the older American Savings holder adds more to the one. Maybe they will be killer toners one day.

TPG Crossover Labels

Maybe I've been hiding under a rock, but I recently sent a few crossovers to PCGS. They graded and everything is fine. They also sent back the other TPG labels. I thought in years past that they sent them to the other TPG's so the populations would be accurate. Do they still report them to the other...

Recent Trueviews are decent but the quality is certainly lacking. Worth the $5, sure if you are doing your whole set. Not the quality we have come to expect out of others. jim

Just sent a few coins in and True view was $5 per coin. Is that a special they are running or did they change prices? Jim

Happy to say that the 14.20 crossed to PCGS in the same XF45 grade. Also had an ANACS 14.18 in XF40 cross at the same grade as well.

Dam Italians were 2/3rds of the foreign counterfeiters. The media says so, it's in black and white - must be true as it is today. LOL Kidding of course "A safer method, commonly used by the Italians for passing bad silver is that in which the boodle carrier figures" WTF is that Strange how things li...

Re: Wanted - 1878 8TF Rarities

Coin received today and looks much better in hand with a lot of underlying luster. Attribution is correct and I think it will cross, but we will see. Overall happy with the purchase on a rare coin. :D
