Send to Leroy? 1891-O BERT

Hello, discovered some extra attributes to my 1891-O BERT that are not listed in the attributions. This coin is similar to 1A4 due to the die cracks, but I also believe there is: REV: Extra clashed letters/denticles at tip of eagles right wing, between the E and D of "United", and between the D and ...

Send to Leroy?

Hello, just want to see if you guys could help me vet these coins before I send them to Mr. Allen. Coin 1: 1887 P * Seems to a low middle date as it breaks in between the near and far on the denticles. Also doubled. It also seems to have part of an 8 in the hair below designers initials along with a...

1878 S Clashed Rev or bag marks?

1878 S that looks like may be clashed or bag marks. At first I was leaning toward bag marks, but not sure. It also has die chips in eye, chips around eye, and a die crack on the rev. Under loop it looks different than bag marks, but you guys know much more than me about clashes. It does have a broke...

1878 S Engraved Wing Feather, Dot in tail Feathers

Hey guys, trying to match this 1878 S engraved wing up. It has a die chip in hair on OBV, dot in top center of tail feathers. Looks like engraved wing is doubled at bottom. Thanks for any input.

Re: Is this a die break? 1884 p

Im certainly no expert, but I would say it is a nice die crack. Usually when I think of a die break I think of a cud left behind, but again, no expert, but nice find.

Yeah it could have been part of a belt buckle or something. The portion covered seems to more metallic looking. Not sure but a neat oddity nonetheless. Thanks.

Re: 1884-O with Threadlike impression?

Thanks for the reply. I’m leaning towards strike thru because it is indented and doesn’t appear to be raised. Thanks.

1891-O Struck with another coin or multiple strikes? Puzzled.

Recently found this 1891-o and it looks like it was struck with another Morgan or double stuck. Any suggestions?

Re: Need Help with a 1878 8TF

Thanks for the good pictures comment. I have different microscopes, but this 5 mp Celestron does pickup the detail very good. Doesn't show mint luster as pics looks flat in luster, but very good about capturing details. Yes, I believe I will contact messydesk about his attribution tool. Matching the...

1878 7TF B2 Short Nock Open O

Hello Everyone, This is my first post as I have just joined a few days ago. Thanks for having me. I have an 1878 7TF B2 Short Nock with an Open O Rev. The Rev is similar to VAM 146, but I'm having trouble matching up the OBV. Even though the rev is similar the OBV is not. May be a different die pair...
