I went over budget , but that was expected . Very Happy with all the coins I got .

Here is my Black Friday Special ( Just came in today) from Ebay at $303.69 with tax .
Yep a 1878 rev 79 vam 228B MS62 that I think is undergraded . Yep been looking for one for awhile to upgrade mine . HAPPY CAMPER on this one .

Hi All Im looking and have been looking for YEARS for a 1879-S REV 78 VAM 34 in AU53 or higher grade . Just putting this out there if anyone has one that they are willing to part with PM me . I know it a rare Bird in that Grade , But I have to ask !!! Thanks iceman/John

I would guess MS63 due to the Chin gouges look a little deep . But Hey its NGC and
we shall see Its just a guess .

Vamit I totally agree with Mark on the Pulling the trigger if it was in a PCGS holder . I was thinking the same as Mark . Yep crossovers can be iffy . But sometimes they come back with a higher grade . I had a 1878 VAM 44 in ANACS AU53 crossover to a PCGS AU55 . So you never know . John / Iceman

You should have also mentioned to the grader ( If he was a True PCGS grader) That PCGS doesnt guarntee their attribution on VAMS , Heck PCGS should put their money where their mouth is . And also he doesnt recognize VAMworld !! LOL , Where are VAM info and attribution info comes from and makes the V...

They do have a section on Buy/Sell/Trade on the SSDC page Registry messages Also . It doesnt work since it shows 13 posts with No posts that you can look at . Actually the whole message board is like that , I dont know if its something Im doing or not . Just a FYI

Albannach Interesting that the Mint released coins in quantity to the dealers . I guess different rules apply to different groups . This would have a statement as it is the old listing of the rarity index , so it would be for reference only a general guide . That would help to give a idea of the Rarity of certain vam's that are being resea...
