1887 Vam 10A availability...

With the recent passing of Ron, I have decided to re-start my search for a few of the Crack City residents. I wanted to ask if this particular Vam is an easy find or more rare. Thanks in advance for any information.

Re: RMG1883CC

Sad to be reading this tonight. :( I communicated with him several times. I'm a fan of Crack City and have visited many times since coming back to Vams a few years ago. I had no idea he had been fighting MS and didn't know him personally the way that many of you did. I wish I had. Go rest high.

Re: Some stout prices on GC last night

I thought my bid was fairly strong on the 79-S Rev of 78 Vam 6, but it ended much higher than I expected. I had one in a Varslab many years ago(much lower grade), and have tried to find another. As Messy stated, rare for sure! I was surprised the 83 Vam 10 wasn't higher. Fun to watch these!

Re: 1884-cc field effects question

Nice topic & conversation & photos. Really good view points from Roger & John! have to agree on planchet flaws. I love these discussions! The first Vam I was ever able to identify was an 84-CC(7A)I acquired in GSA holder. This date has a special place in my heart. I have since learned much about th...

Congrats! One of my favorite 21-D Vams. Previously held by vamhusker , I was able to acquire this in late 2018. I had my eye on the 21-D 1U. Wasn't meant to be. Congrats if anyone here acquired.

John, based on the pricing that starts at MS 60 I take it circulated coins are not accepted in bulk orders?

Re: 1884-o ? 37a2 Does it matter?

Since the owner and operator of "Crack City" has not given the link in this thread as of yet, I will do the honors! I visit the City often and YOU should as well! :) I think I unintentionally started building this as a set a couple of years ago. I Love it! And....more are considered for inclusion re...

We may have a few on SD !!
Think Rod has one too
Of course! I think I am(unintentionally or perhaps subconsciously)collecting Crack City as it's own "list"! Love it! :)

Nope. The only reason I have a goatee is because my wife says I look like a 14 year old without. I hate it but I want to make her happy! ;)

I went Thursday. Had a few Vams on my radar, but my eyes were bothering me and I wasn't really able to do much in the way of cherry picking. I did get to meet Roger Bradshaw(Brian was away from the table at that time), and he gave me some good advice about the ones I am seeking. Only purchase was a...
