Ok, what is it? It can’t be an 1889o v1a2, no clashed g, not 1887 v1a, there are ms examples, not 1891o v3a2 because there is a ms example. Not 1880 v39a, 33a, 1888o v1a, 1891o v1a, 1884 v2a, not 1883o v36a, 22a, 1878 v84a, which leaves 1889o v20a. ??

I have gotten plenty of those “head scratchers”. Now that ngc is badly undergradung dollars, people have stopped sending thme to them and are flooding pcgs with dollars. It’s slowing things wayy down.

Generally speaking, A cracked planchet is characterized by a crack that goes through both sides. I would attribute this as a lamination.

Just went through a collection and found an identical to the one posted on vamworld. Clearly an 1889 tripled clashed obverse with 84cx reverse. Same raised bumps on obverse, same machined in reverse, same denticles, same flaw at u of united, machine doubling on reverse, flaw at last a of america. Wh...
